Message from the President – September 16, 2009

Wow! It is hard to believe that 9 months have passed since the launch of our new Web Site! We appreciate all the positive feedback we have received on our launch. We have been exceptionally busy this year and are extremely grateful to all of our customers for the opportunity to serve you. We will celebrate our 50th year serving the Aerospace Industry next year, a feat made possible only through the hard work of our valued employees and the continued support of our customers. What an honor!

In the spirit of continuous improvement we have made significant investments in our infrastructure this year:

• Fort Worth- Remodeled our Fort Worth facility to create a more productive work environment for our Inside Sales, Purchasing, and Accounting staff and added additional temperature controlled space for paints and adhesives.
• Wichita- Expanded our facility by 5,000 Sq. Ft. to support our growth and to enhance our packaging capabilities.
• Company Wide- Installed a new ERP System to improve our business processes from Sales Order entry to Delivery. Continued to develop our unique Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) business model.

In the near future we will be announcing the expansion of our company’s footprint again, as well as changes to our facility in Jasper to support additional packaging capabilities.
We have also renewed our AS9120 and ISO9001 Certifications this year, joined the Supplier Excellence Alliance (SEA), and have one of our own as a Six Sigma Black Belt candidate.

Much has happened with our economy and our industry since my last message; we appear to be entering a period of great uncertainty in both our country’s and the global economy. Our company is strong and is better prepared than ever to support our customers during this time. As we enter in to this Holiday Season we wish you all a season of peace and prosperity, and as always, we appreciate your business and your continued patronage.
