Techcon
To compliment Graco’s repackaging capability, Graco is an authorized distributor for OKInternational and the Techcon trade named cartridges and dispensing systems.
For over 45 years, Techcon Systems has been a leader in fluid dispensing products. Today, Techcon Systems is a member of the OK International family of products offering a full range of fluid dispensing equipment, dispensing consumables and fluid packaging products. Techcon Systems offers a wide array of fluid dispensing products and provides dispensing components ranging from disposable accessories to complete digital controlled dispensing systems, and precision valves for automation. Techcon Systems was established in 1961 to service industrial manufacturing markets and has continued to provide fluid dispensing solutions globally.
One of their featured products is digital dispensers. These provide reliability by standardizing the process. The TX250/255 system dispenses low and to high viscosity fluids accurately and consistently, whereas the Advanced Fluid Dispenser and Controller (TS350/355) also features a digital readout.
By far, the largest part of Techcon is providing materials packaging. High quality and dependable, Techcon Systems cartridges and accessories are designed for the rigors of manufacturing. Operated in both manual and air powered applications, these products are capable of handling a wide variety of fluids for many different industry applications, especially in material packaging sector. With hundreds of sizes ranging from 5 ounces up to gallons, their custom mixing pumps are the perfect solution to combining resins, epoxies, and other plural component products. There are three main types of packaging available.
Barrier Type
- For compounds with a volumetric ratio greater than 10 parts per
100.
- The catalyst and base are separated by an aluminum barrier
formed over the mixing head.
Injection Type
- For compounds with a volumetric ratio of 10 parts or less per 100.
- The catalyst is contained inside the valved mixing rod while the
base is in the cartridge.
Barrier/Injection Type
- For three component compounds, components of both Injection and Barrier are combined.
Various mixing heads can be combined with these, creating just the right type of mixing necessary to activate the compounds inside.
