Gore has designed a variety of GORE™ SKYFLEX® sealant tapes to meet the stringent demands of the aerospace industry. GORE™ SKYFLEX® sealants are manufactured from 100 percent PTFE that has been subjected to the patented Gore expansion process. The material is inert to all common chemicals, and it functions over a wide temperature range (-240° to +260°C). It does not age, and it is weather and UV-resistant. GORE™ SKYFLEX® sealant has proven to be the sealant of choice over countless flight hours and on a wide variety of aircraft.
